East Fremantle Bites & Beats – Event Wrap-up

Saturday’s East Fremantle Bites & Beats was a beautiful reminder of what makes this neighbourhood so special. With live music filling the East Fremantle Community Park, local food vendors serving up crowd favourites, kids’ activities and families spread across the grass, the afternoon was full of joy and warmth.

After the George Street Festival was paused, it felt especially meaningful to see our community come together again in such a lovely way. Events like these are more than just a fun day out, they’re moments that reconnect neighbours, support local business and remind us why East Fremantle is such a loved place to live (and work).

We were incredibly proud to be involved in this year’s ‘Bites & Beats’, sponsoring the kids’ activities and watching the younger members of the community enjoy everything from games to creative play. Seeing so many smiling faces (both big and small) made it all worthwhile.

Members of the Yard team, including Clare Hickey-Shand and Xavier Teague, spent the afternoon soaking up the atmosphere, chatting with locals and enjoying the energy of the event.

A heartfelt thank you to the Town of East Fremantle and the East Fremantle Community Park team for organising such a thoughtfully run and welcoming event. It’s clear how much care goes into creating opportunities for people to come together and we’re grateful to have played a part in it!

We left the day energised and excited for what’s ahead. If this weekend was anything to go by, the future of community events in East Fremantle is looking bright! We can’t wait to see everyone together soon.
